Clifford Aboagye involved in a car accident in Mexico

Clifford Aboagye, Ghanaian international midfielder, has been involved in a car accident in Mexico. Clifford who plays for top-flight side Queretaro, in Mexico luckily escaped unharmed.

The Gallos de Queretaro player met with the road accident on the Avenida 5 de Febrero road in the city of Querétaro, Mexico last night when his car was run into by a pick-up truck from behind.

Medical personnel got to the scene in no time and realised none of the occupants of both vehicles was seriously injured.

However, the driver of the pick-up truck was however sent to the hospital quickly, for fear of having suffered probable internal injuries.

Traffic on the busy road was affected for a few minutes until the two damaged cars involved in the clash were removed from the scene of the accident.

Various eyewitness accounts indicate that Aboagye stopped his car in the central lanes of the high-speed highway to find his wallet, which he had dropped.

Aboagye immediately went to the police headquarters in the city to give his statements over the accident.

He played his first tournament with the White Roosters of Querétaro and has since become a key player for the team.
