Reggae act Shasha Marley has praised the Akufo-Addo-led government for its strong fight against the COVID-19 pandemic in Ghana.
The musician feels leadership has done “a great job to bring down these numbers.”

“Ghana has done extremely well and for that matter, I must congratulate whoever is in place making sure these numbers are controlled. They’ve done amazingly well”, he said on Class FM.
On Tuesday, September 1, 2020, international flights commenced operations.
President Akufo-Addo made this known during his national address on the measures taken by the government to curb the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak.
“I am glad to announce that the Kotoka International Airport will resume operations on Tuesday, September 1, 2020. This has been communicated to all international airlines,” he said.
President Akufo-Addo disclosed that every passenger who arrives in the country must possess proof of a negative PCR test.
