Ghana has recorded 183 new cases of the novel coronavirus disease, causing the country’s total confirmed cases to rise up to 5,918.
This is latest update is coming from the Ghana Health Service’s as at Tuesday morning [May 19, 2020.]
Two new deaths have also been confirmed, increasing the toll to 31.
The number of persons who have recovered from the virus in Ghana, however, still stands at 1,754.
The new coronavirus cases were recorded in six regions, with the most being in the Greater Accra region.
According to the Ghana Health Service, a total of 180,567 tests have so far been conducted.
