An Adenta Circuit Court has granted GH¢50,000 bail to Cyril George Carstensen Lutterodt, with two sureties justified, over alleged offensive conduct linked to remarks about musician Daddy Lumba.
The 50-year-old biomedical engineer, also known as Counsellor Lutterodt, has been charged with offensive conduct conducive to the breach of the peace and pleaded not guilty.
Prosecution told the court that Lutterodt, a resident of Adenta SSNIT Flats in Accra, allegedly made the remarks in a viral video circulated on social media.
It said that on Monday, March 9, 2026, the Police came across a viral video on Facebook and on a platform known as KwasiTV.
In the video, Lutterodt allegedly made comments concerning the burial place of Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba.
According to the prosecution, Lutterodt stated: “If it is true that Lumba as it is alleged has been buried in the house, I want to ask the Ga Boys in Accra, that we shouldn’t wait for the police, let’s move to the residence of Lumba and I am calling action now for the desecration of the land walk to the house with pickaxe.
“We are not fighting any human being, enter the residence of Lumba and let’s find where the body has been buried.”
Prosecution said Lutterodt was subsequently arrested by the Police.
It said that while investigations were ongoing, another viral video emerged showing some Ga youth at the residence of Daddy Lumba at East Legon in Accra.
Prosecution said investigations were ongoing.
