Ghana has officially hit the 30,000 mark with confirmed cases of the novel COVID-19.
According to the Ghana Health Service, 694 new cases of the virus was recorded in the country.
Out of the 30,366 cases, 26,687 have recovered and/or been discharged. The death toll remains 153, leaving the country with 3,526 active cases.
Of the 694 cases, 389 are from the Ashanti region while 157 were recorded in the Greater Accra region.
Total test positivity rate is 8.40.
