The streets of Accra are still empty with the absence of the regular early morning traffic they are known for due to the lockdown in place.
Though more and more inquisitive Ghanaians are venturing to go out to ascertain if the lockdown is in force, security personnel are employing all and any means possible to curb such behaviour.
The lockdown in Accra and Kumasi is expected to last for the next 11 days as the country tries to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
