Nigerian artiste Dammy Krane has criticised the influx of Nigeria songs in Ghana with a majority of radio stations and club DJs playing few local songs.

He believes the growing trend of Nigeria music being played more than Ghana music in Ghana is unacceptable and must stop, beginning this year.

In his view, it must be balanced and that only Nigerian songs that feature a Ghanaian should play on rotation.

“Naija music is being played more than Ghana music in Ghana. This must stop in 2020, the only Naija songs that should have such rotations are songs that features a Ghanaian. Every must balance well in 2020,” Krane wrote on Twitter.

Even though Krane is aware his statement would spark public outrage he is not perturbed by the criticism.
