DCE of AAK assures district assembly of timely completion of ongoing projects

Mr Daniel Mensah Wardy, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese (AAK) has assured the Assembly that all ongoing projects in the district would be completed within the stipulated period and handed over to the beneficiaries.

The DCE who was speaking at the assembly’s meeting on the progress of the projects were discussed, said most of them were at their roofing and lintel stages and plans made for their completion.

Some of the ongoing projects included a six-unit classroom block with an office and a toilet each at Okyiriku and Abura Emperow, and a two-unit classroom block with an office and a toilet at Abaasa/Surowodofo.

The others were the construction of a Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) each at Nyamedom and Ohiaba.

However, a CHPS Compound at Abura Abeka had been completed and would be handed over soon.

Mr Mensah also mentioned the construction of mechanised boreholes in several communities within the district.

He applauded the contractors working on the various projects and appealed to them to complete the works on time to boost economic growth, improve infrastructure and enhance the quality of life for residents in the district.
