Dr Lawrence Tetteh receives John Maxwell honours at Leadership Conference in Kenya

Renowned Evangelist, Reverend Dr Lawrence Tetteh, has been honoured by Leadership Speaker and Philanthropist, Dr John Maxwell, at the African Highroad Leadership Conference 2025 in Nairobi, Kenya.

Dr Tetteh, one of the main speakers during the conference, spoke on “the dangers of offence” which he believes has been “the downfall of many emerging leaders.”

He encouraged leaders to stay focused in spite of negative remarks or conduct of others, which could sway them from their God-given purpose.

Referring to scriptures, he noted that leaders should manage their emotions in all circumstances to avoid the “traps of the enemy.”

“Offences are traps of the enemy, offences will make you sick, offences will make you boastful and arrogant, offence will make you lose your authority, offence will make you lose what you have laboured for…” he noted.

The award recognised Rev. Tetteh’s exemplary leadership as a transformational leader and his dedication to preaching the Gospel and inspiring lives as a minister of God.

Mr Eric Nyuma, Africa Regional Director of the Maxwell/EQUIP Leadership Beyond Success Programme, commended Dr Tetteh for mentoring other young leaders and impacting lives positively over the years.

John C. Maxwell is an American author, speaker, and coach, recognised as a prominent leadership authority.
