Kwame Owusu Fordjour, nicknamed Dr. UN by Ghanaians, has been released from police cells after his arrest.

In a recent interview he revealed how he was released from police custody.

Some weeks ago, Dr. UN was arrested and put behind bars over a supposed fraudulent awards scheme he put together.

In an interview on Angel FM, Dr. UN detailed how his lawyer worked hard and pleaded for him to be granted bail.

“My lawyer and I pleaded for bail because no matter how big you are, you will be humbled when standing in front of a judge at the court,” he stated.

“I have a lawyer. We went to court…the judge realised I needed help”, he said amid laughter.

Dr. UN disclosed that several high profile personalities called his phone in a bid to help him while he was in police cells.
