Popular Ghanaian fashion designer, Elikem Kumordzie also known as Elikem The Tailor, has come under heavy attack after he announced he was selling handwoven nose maks for GH₵85.
Considering the not so ordinary times the average Ghanaian finds himself in, selling a mask that goes for between GHC5 and GHC2 at his price may be regarded as ridiculous.
A section of Ghanaians who are not happy about the price decided to descend on him for doing what they consider as wickedness.
The Greater Accra region, following the directives of the president, has implemented a ‘No mask, No entry’ policy in the region to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
A few unhappy Ghanaians had this to say about Elikem’s masksk,
