Actor cum tailor Elikem Kumordzie has said he is distributing 500 pieces of custom made face masks to Ghanaians.
Taking to Instagram to share the news, he said though he is aware the masks are not medically approved, they are better than nothing.
According to him, with the shortage of clinical masks in hospitals, it is fair to create something that the public can wear without having to go for the little clinical masks left for health professionals.
“In a country like the Czech Republic, for example, they have recorded the lowest cases in Europe so far because everybody is advised to wear a face mask,” he said.
“So guys I advise you to wear your face masks whenever going out. I have been able to produce 500 pieces of face masks, free of charge to be distributed.”
“TAG ME and also use the hashtag #thetailorsFaceMask and #mask4all when u receive yours,” he added.
All persons interested in Elikem’s face masks may contact his manager, Alfred on +233273240051 for one.
Elikem Kumordzie is currently under 14 days of mandatory quarantine after returning to Ghana from South Africa.
