Mrs. Ifeanyi Ahyia Adjei, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Project Manager of the “Ogyeahoho Science and Technology Fair”, has urged students in the Western North Region to develop a keen interest in Mathematics and Science subjects.
That, she noted, would position them for future opportunities in the rapidly evolving technological world.
Speaking at the second edition of the Ogyeahoho Science and Technology Fair at Bibiani Senior High School, Mrs. Adjei indicated that technology shaped every aspect of modern life, from education and health to communication and industry.
She stressed that students must equip themselves with scientific knowledge and technological skills to remain competitive globally.
“The world is rapidly moving into a technology-driven era, and our students cannot afford to be left behind. Developing strong foundations in Mathematics and Science is essential for innovation, problem-solving, and national development,” she indicated.
Mrs. Adjei called on teachers, parents, and educational authorities to support initiatives that promote science and technology education.
She reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to nurturing young talents and providing platforms for them to translate classroom knowledge into real-world solutions.
The Ogyeahoho Science and Technology Fair, themed “Empowering Tomorrow’s Innovators Today,” was organised by Avance Media under the leadership of Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi II, Paramount Chief of Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Area and President of the National House of Chiefs.

He reminded the students that the knowledge they acquired today would lay the foundation for their future success, igniting a renewed sense of purpose and determination among the young audience.
The Paramount Chief of Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Area, Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi II, who presided over the event, advised students to take the initiative seriously. “Technology is what propels the world forward,”
He challenged them to think critically about how they could contribute meaningfully to technological advancement and national development.
