Emelia Brobbey is not backing down on her dream to become a full-time artist and eventually a big name in the Ghanaian music industry.
In her latest revelation, Emelia says she is working on a remix of her very first song,‘Fa Meko’, which was greatly bashed and criticised on social media.
Many artistes including, Okyeame Kwame expressed interest in working with Emelia on a remix of the song, as they may have probably seen something about it, the rest of the world could not see yet.
She, however, ignored them all and chose one of Ghana’s best singers, Prince Bright of Buk Bak fame.
Okyeame Kwame in a recent interview described the Fa Me Ko song saying; “It is a nice song and I love it; you know it is not usual for an actress to do such a song so I commend her for that. I have listened to it and if Emelia should call me to say I need you on that song, I will gladly jump on it. I love Highlife and I love Emelia as well, she has been a very good friend of mine for a long time. That song is great.”
Speaking in an interview on Gye Nyame FM in Kumasi, Emelia Brobbey confirmed she was set to release the remix of the song, which features Prince Bright and she was particularly grateful to all artists who reached out and were ready to work pro-bono on the song.
“We’re done with the remix. It features Bright of Buk Bak fame,” she said.
Emelia is currently promoting her new song, “Odo Electric”, which features the self-acclaimed queen of Ghana music, Wendy Shay.
