Captain Planet has been trending on Twitter in Ghana after he landed himself in the pit of trolls with a misconceived comment that targeted the Ghana Health Ministry.

The musician had taken to social media to question reports about coronavirus patients in Ghana who have recovered. He wondered how the patients survived the deadly disease without a vaccine.

Sharing a screenshot of the report that 31 Coronavirus patients have recovered in Ghana, Captain Planet via a tweet quizzed:

“Currently no FDA approved products against COVID-19, so how did 31 patients with COVID-19 recover in Ghana?”

The comment immediately sparked conversations online as tweeters schooled him whilst others mock him for making a comment that some have described “dumb”.

The rapper later admitted he has goofed and deleted his tweet.

Despite admitting his mistake, trolls still mocked the former member of the defunct 4×4 music group, who has appeared in the trends in Ghana
