Wendy Shay does not seem ready to give up on forcing the FDA to lift the ban on celebrities advertising alcoholic beverages in Ghana.
Wendy Shay called out the food and drinks regulatory authority, last night after she allegedly lost a contract worth 1000s of dollars.
The FDA took its time to explain and give Wendy reasons why their move was the best in the interest of Ghana as a nation.
Wendy who is always looking for ways to stay controversial on social media seemed unhappy with the reply from the FDA and has returned to hit back at them.
On her Instagram post, Wendy wrote;
“FDA thx for de reply.U endorse alcohol n make cash by approving it to be sold,but you claim to protect children when a celeb wants to make money by advertising it?UNFAIR! If you truly care abt the kids and not the money then why approve it in first place?FDA alone wan chop ..GH wake up!”
We can’t tell what exactly Wendy wants us to wake up from as Ghanaians, but we hope the FDA sends her an entire booklet of their policy guidelines, to help her better understand what they mean.
