Five persons have been injured in a road accident at Ahwerase Christland School Junction in the Akuapem South Municipality.
The collision, which occurred on Friday, 14th August 2026, involved a Toyota Altis (AW 750-15) and a Ford Ranger Crew Cab (VR 775-X).
The impact caused extensive damage to the Toyota Altis, partial damage to the Ford Ranger, and also affected a nearby electrical shop.

Firefighters from the Aburi Fire Station, led by ADO II Kwarteng, responded to a distress call at 20:38 hours and provided on-site medical attention to the injured.
All casualties were treated at the scene. No fatalities were recorded. The crew returned to base at 21:42 hours.

The cause of the accident is yet to be determined.
The Ghana National Fire Service has advised motorists to exercise caution on the roads.
