Ghanaian comic actor, Mmebusem, seems to have finally grown weary of the constant criticisms from people from all walks of life.

Ghana Jesus, as he is often called, seems to have come to the end of his patience span as he finally claps back at critics of his art, especially pastors.

Mmebusem has come under fire in recent times for being blasphemous in his comic acts.

Following a viral video, gospel musician Cindy Thompson admonished the actor to stop using Jesus’ name in vain. Other renowned personalities like Pastor Brian Jones and actress Joselyn Dumas have all expressed their displeasure about the way the actor does his act.

Mmebusem in an interview was quoted saying, “Those pastors should concentrate on winning souls for God because that is their ultimate calling and task in the ministry. Their calling is not to bash me! I am promoting Jesus’ works via comedy so I don’t get these pastors.”

To Mmebusem, his act is not the calling of the pastors, their focus should be on the flock of Christ and wonder how to gather them and not discredit his hard work. He believes his skits are educative skits built on humour.
