Ghana Premier League returnees King Faisal have acquired the services of defender Daniel Addo, club President Alhaji Karim Grunsah has confirmed.
The 30-year-old is returning to the club ahead of the start of the new league season nine years after his departure. He was 18 years when he signed for King Faisal in 2008. He spent two seasons with the Kumasi-based club before leaving for AshantiGold.
Alhaji Grunsah confirmed the news of Addo’s signing to Graphic Sports Online and revealed that the Egypt 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup gold medalist had been signed alongside other seasoned players to beef up the team ahead of their season-opener against Dawu-based Dreams FC.
The league is expected to start on December 27 with King Faisal targeting a finish above the relegation mark.
