Artiste manager, George Britton, has rendered an unqualified apology to rapper Edem, after their head to head on social media.
The former manager of Keche in a post on Facebook noted that, it would be in their best interest to fight against the system that hinders the growth of musicians in the country rather than fighting among themselves.
He went on to add that, musicians and industry players can reach greater heights as a unified body.
George Britton wrote: “Rather than fighting amongst ourselves, let’s fight the system that has impoverished the Ghanaian musician. We need a better industry, and with that in mind, I will apologize to my brother Edem Goget’em for engaging in an ugly social media banter. As colleagues and mates in the industry, we should have a united front in this fight. We can only win when we are together, divided we fail. #LetsWinTogether #GeorgeBritton.”
Edem and George’s disagreement came after the latter, in a discussion on Joy Prime’s ‘Showbiz Now’ on Tuesday, April 28, 2020, mentioned that the Ghana music industry will be inactive without Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.
In trading words and attacks, George Britton told Edem to wake up from his sleep, work hard and learn how to stay relevant in the music scene.
