The government of Ghana has introduced measures to ease the trouble and hustle of obtaining visas, for diasporans coming to Ghana for the Year of Return.
In a Facebook post shared by the Embassy of Ghana in Washington DC, the measure would enable visitors travelling to Ghana during the year of return to obtain visa-on-arrival.
According to the embassy, “the new arrangement is expected to simplify the check-in procedures for boarding passengers and ease the burden on travellers who are unable to obtain Ghanaian visas in their countries of residence.”
This will believe will go a long way to also ease up the pressure currently being faced by some embassies with the processing of visas.
This arrangement is valid from now till the end of January 2020
