Ghanaian singer and Rufftown Records signee, Fantana, says all female artists in Ghana are ‘local’ except two.
According to her, the country has two international female artists and she admitted that she is not one of them.
Fantana, however, did not mention the names of the two international artists.
”Everyday ‘queen this’ ‘queen that’… Meanwhile, only two current female musicians in GH can brag about being international”, she stated on her social media pages.
The singer made the comments when addressing the current ‘beefs’ among female artistes in the country.
She said it is about time people stop giving themselves titles and work beyond their recognition in Ghana because an artiste’s craft cannot be limited to just where she is based.
Fanta said ‘beefs’ are unnecessary but rather, there should be a focus on how their craft will be respected.
The ‘So What?’ singer stressed that the bitter rivalry won’t help the industry in anyway.
