The Black Stars of Ghana has placed 47th on the last FIFA ranking for the year 2019.

With this, the Black Stars would have moved four places up from their previous ranking in November, and placed 6th on the African Continent.

The move is believed to be as a result of defeating South Africa and São Tomé and Príncipe in the AFCON 2021 qualifiers.
