Ghana Police Command undergoes massive reshuffle

The top command of the Ghana Police Service has undergone a massive shakeup with the reassignment of a good number of its officers.

In a short communiques issued on Friday, January 3rd 2020, the Inspector General of Police, James Oppong-Boanuh, reshuffled a good number of his officers.

The very popular, Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah, the Director-General of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), who came under heavy criticism for her abysmal handling of the kidnapping case of the three Takoradi girls, has been moved to Director-General of Welfare.

DCOP David Senanu Eklu, the Director-General of the Public Affairs Department moved to the Police Hospital as an Administrator.

According to the letter sighted by JiveGH.com, the reshuffle and new appointments take effect from Wednesday, January 15th 2020.
