Ghana’s positive coronavirus case count as at May 23, 2020 stands at 6,617.
131 new cases were confirmed by the Ghana Health Service to increase the figure to the current update.
So far, 1,978 recoveries have been recorded out of the total number of infections in the country.
The coronavirus death toll in Ghana still stands at 31.
Out of the 131 new cases, 81 infections were from the Greater Accra Region. Ashanti Region recorded 22 new cases, 10 new cases in the Central region, 13 new cases in the Central Region, 4 new cases in Western North with 1 in the Volta Region.
