Ghana to host Gastro ‘Feastival’ celebrating food, innovation

Ghana will stage its inaugural Gastro ‘Feastival’ on December 5–6, 2025 in celebration of food, culture and agribusiness.

The two-day feastival organised by Charterhouse Productions is set for The Palms Convention Centre at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra.

The festival aims to spotlight opportunities across Ghana’s food value chain while blending traditional flavours with global culinary trends.

“This December, food will meet innovation, street flavour will meet fine dining, and jollof will meet global cuisine. Every bite will be a vibe,” said project lead Priscilla Badake.

The event would feature live chef throwdowns, cooking competitions, street food alleys, Ghanaian and international cuisine zones, dessert corners, healthy options, masterclasses and farm-to-feast tours. Organisers also promise food demos, cultural experiences and live entertainment.

Ahead of the festival, Charterhouse has launched “Table of 8,” a podcast series hosted by Enyonam Manye, focusing on conversations from farm to feast.

The first episode explored cassava’s potential with farmers, agro-processors and food innovators, accompanied by a cassava-inspired three-course menu curated by PaJohn’s and Chef Solomon Otoo Tetteh.

Participation details are available online while interested patrons can get updates via Gastro Festival and Charterhouse Live social media channels.
