Ghana’s coronavirus cases jump to 834

Coronavirus cases in Ghana has risen to 834 as at Saturday, April 18, 2020.

The number increased from the previously recorded figure of 641 on Thursday.

So far 99 patients have recovered and have been discharged.

A total of nine persons have lost their lives after contracting the virus.

Ghana has so far tested over 57,000 cases since the outbreak of the virus.

In its routine updates, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) said the new development was mainly due to the enhanced contact-tracing and testing process which is ongoing.
