GHPL: Hearts beat Dreams, Kotoko draw as Berekum Chelsea lose unbeaten record

Matchday 7 of the Ghana Premier League produced interesting results with Berekum Chelsea tasting defeat for the first time to lose top position to Aduana Stars, Hearts of Oak recovered from super clash defeat at Dreams while Kotoko failed at home.

A second-half strike by Kofi Kordzi helped Hearts of Oak earn a deserved 1-0 win against Dreams FC in Dawu on Sunday.

Kotoko failed at home as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Liberty Professionals in Kumasi. The Porcupine Warriors needed a late strike by William Opoku Mensah to snatch a draw.

Elsewhere, Berekum Chelsea suffered their first defeat of the season after losing 2-1 to Bechem United in the local derby.

The defeat proved costly as Aduana Stars have taken over the top position following their 1-0 win over Medeama.
