Aduana FC stretched their advantage at the top of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League (GPL) after a 3-1 home win over Berekum Chelsea on Sunday, securing their seventh victory of the campaign.
Owusu Ansah, Hensen Amponsah and Emmanuel Marfo scored for Aduana FC at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park, while Abubahkari Seidu netted a consolation for Chelsea.
The “Ogyaa Boys” are now top with 23 points, a point ahead of Heart of Lions who were held in a pulsating 2-2 draw by Vision FC at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex.
Asante Kotoko preserved their unbeaten start with a goalless draw at FC Samartex in Nsenkyire.
The result leaves Kotoko fourth on 20 points, three behind leaders Aduana FC, while FC Samartex sit seventh with 17.
Accra Hearts of Oak earned a point in a 0-0 stalemate against Young Apostles at Wenchi Sports Stadium, moving to sixth with 18 points.
Swedru All Blacks claimed their first away win of the season, edging Dreams FC 3-2 at the University of Ghana Stadium to climb out of the relegation zone into 13th.
Nations FC returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Gold Stars at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.
