Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey has earned praise from Spanish world cup winner Cesc Fabregas following his performance for Atletico Madrid against Barcelona on Sunday night.
Although Atleti lost 1-0 courtesy a late Messi goal, Partey’s commanding performance didn’t go unnoticed and has earned him high marks from former Chelsea, Arsenal and Barcelona great.
Partey was Atleti’s best player on the pitch with a 7.1 rating according to Whoscored.com.

Thomas Partey who wears the number 5 jersey for Atletico Madrid has had an amazing start to the 2019/2020 season, cementing his starting role in Diego Simeone’s team.

The 26-year-old, who has a 50 million euros release clause, continues to be linked with a move away from Atletico.
