Rapper Strongman has recalled how Shatta Wale turned down his request for a collaboration.

The former Sarkcess Music act, revealed this during an interaction with his fans on Twitter.

Asked why he doesn’t have a song with the dancehall act, Strongman laughed over it but when asked about Stonebwoy, he said, “it is in the pipeline”.

One fan was not pleased with his failure to respond to the question on a collaboration with Shatta Wale and also sought further explanation.

In his response, Strongman said Shatta Wale completely refused to feature on his song.

“Sometimes you just need to read in between lines. I sent it and he said he won’t do it so it’s a way of telling you that the feature won’t happen Don’t insult cos you can’t do better”, he wrote.

It is unclear what the issue is between Strongman and Shatta Wale.

However, some fans have suggested that Strongman’s affiliation with Sarkodie, Shatta Wale’s ‘enemy’, is a reason for Shatta Wale rejecting the request.
