Hiplife sensation, Patapaa Amity, has revealed in recent interviews how he almost lost his life in Tarkwa.

The news made rounds on October 28th that the ‘scopatumana’ legend had been rushed to the hospital in a critical condition.

Only speaking about the incident now, Patapaa recounts how he went from being energy-packed and ready for his performance to nearly dying.

According to reports, he was scheduled to perform the next but had to be quickly be rushed to the St. Martins de Porres hospital due to food poisoning at the Kundum show at Atuabo.

Speaking in an interview, Patapaa narrated his ordeal saying “I was poisoned when I went for a show at Tarkwa where I asked for an energy drink,”

After taking the drink, Patapaa says he started to feel very uncomfortable with his stomach making strange sounds.

Shortly after, he was throwing up all over the place.

“My vomit was as dark as a polythene bag and my stool was black and filled with blood,” he narrated saying.

He said it took the intervention and spiritual directions of his pastor to enable him to vomit thick black substances accompanied by clots of blood.

Founder and General Overseer of God’s Crown Chapel, Reindolph Oduro Gyebi, better known as the Eagle Prophet awhile back, gave a prophecy about Patapaa and how a close friend will attempt to kill him through food poisoning.

Patapaa says he took the prophecy to heart and in good faith and worked towards preventing it but a friend he can’t pinpoint tried to outsmart him.
