Former President of the Ghana Music Union (MUSIGA) Bice Osei Kuffour has reacted to corruption claims made by some Ghanaian artistes.
A few days ago, Criss Waddle and D-Black staged an online campaign against the parliamentary aspirant of the Asante Akyem South constituency.
Speaking on the rumour of corruption, Obour told ABC News that: “I came to MUSIGA with a plan and to the best of my understanding and to the best of my abilities, I executed the plan fully.”
“I can sue them for defamation but I feel strongly that people who are discerning will not just join the bandwagon.
We know that if people are corrupt, they are prosecuted and I think the whole musician body cannot be fooled. Supposing it is some group saying this, we have the whole musician body.”
Obour further drove home his determination, saying the people Asante Akyem were discerning and he trusts them to think and vote rightly in the upcoming primaries.
