Shatta Wale has opined strongly that he can remain relevant in the music industry without ‘beefing’ his colleagues.

The artiste said this in response to claims that he survives mainly on beefs with colleagues.

However, Shatta Wale stated on Onua FM that he made more money when he was not beefing any artiste.

“Why do people think that [if I don’t beef] I can’t make money. People shouldn’t see me that if there is no beef I can’t survive”, he said.

The ‘Kakai’ hit maker has had beefs with top artistes including Samini, Stonebwoy, Sarkodie and Yaa Pono.

Shatta Wale also stated that his grudge with Samini was “was one of the greatest beefs I have had in my life” but added that Samini did not see the business side of it.

Even though Shatta Wale once said he enjoys ‘beefs’, he now claims that the act is not healthy for the music industry.
