I couldn’t execute all ideas planned for ‘Things Fall Apart’ music video – Kofi Kinaata

Popular Ghanaian artiste, Kofi Kinaata, has revealed that he was unable to execute all the ideas he had intended to showcase in his new music video.

The musician released a music video for his highly accepted single titled ‘Things Fall Apart’.

Music video for the song, ‘Things Fall Apart’ was released on Friday, December 6, 2019.

Many had anticipated the video because the song had gone viral and also provoked serious discussions.

In an interview with JoyNews, Kofi Kinaata said unfortunately, all ideas planned for the music video were not executed due to time constraint.

‘It wasn’t easy. We said a lot of things in the song. We were supposed to show that under three minutes in the video. It wasn’t easy’, he said.

Kofi Kinaata said his team had a hard time selecting what should feature in the music video that lasts for 3 minutes.

‘We ended up taking some of the stuff out. We didn’t know which one to pick out and which one to keep it in. It was a whole lot of work. Thanks to the director, Babs Direction, he came up with a plan and he executed it’, the singer revealed.

The highly acclaimed song by Kofi Kinaata ‘Things Fall Apart’ has transcended the arena of secular music and has gained prominence in the Church.

Not only do we have Christians singing along without any hesitation but some preachers are preaching sermons using the content of the song.

In ‘Things Fall Apart’, Kofi Kinaata tries to expose the hypocrisy of the Church and questions the steadfastness of Christians in their journey of faith.

The artiste called out unscrupulous citizens as well as Christians who were lukewarm and warned them against fighting the devil.

Kofi Kinaata seemed to have chastised churches that had schools especially tertiary institutions but their members were too poor to attend these schools.
