Gospel artist Diana Asamoah has denied saying “the battery is the Lord’s” instead of ”the battle is the Lord’s”.
The statement used by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ahead of the 2016 elections is a quote from 1 Samuel 17:47.
“And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle [is] the LORD’S, and he will give you into our hands”
In an interview with Nana Ama McBrown on UTV, Diana Asamoah denied saying ‘battery’ but had an interesting pronunciation of the words making the statement.
