Dancehall act Jupitar says he gave his shirt to Stonebwoy for Samini’s ‘Climax’ video shoot some eight years ago.
Jupitar said he had to swap shirts with the ‘Nominate’ hit maker because the latter’s costume was not the best.
Samini had then featured his protégé, Stonebwoy on his new song ‘Climax’ as a way of projecting the young act.
Jupitar disclosed what he did for Stonebwoy after some fans alleged that he hates his colleague.
The ‘Money Box’, hit maker had earlier posted on social media that the clash between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy was unfair.
Rather, he wants Samini to battle Shatta Wale and he also battles Stonebwoy.
“I’ve respected Samini for a very long time. I remember when Samini was putting Stonebwoy on, he called me about Stonebwoy and with the respect that I have for Samini I quickly rushed there.
“During the time they were shooting climax video, Samini called me to come and represent. When I got there, he (Stonebwoy) was in a certain shirt that didn’t look good so I swapped mine with his. The blue top he wore in the video is mine – I’m saying this for people who are saying I hate Stonebwoy. He knows I love him so much,” he said.
