Veteran Dancehall artist, Samini says he had always wanted to sign young talent Kelvyn Boy onto his record label.
According to him, this desire existed long before the Afrobeats singer joined Bhim Nation.
Samini disclosed that Kelvyn Boy was his backing vocalist on some bands he played with and he always had him in mind.
”I had him in mind. My manager said we had to sign that kid”, he said.
However, his protégé Stonebwoy signed the young man and that brought joy to him because he knew Kelvyn Boy was marked for greatness.
Samini is excited about the young artist’s growth and progress in the industry.
On October 30, Kelvyn Boy released his maiden album dubbed “Black Star”.
