Ghanaian songstress, Becca, at the beginning of this year announced her plans for the new decade, which included her desire to quit being a ‘recording’ artiste.
Many media houses, misconstrued her statement and reported that, she had intentions to quit her career as a musician altogether.
Becca, in a recent interview on Joy FM, has clarified her statement and assure her fans she is nowhere near quitting music.
According to Becca, she is only taking a break from being a RECORDING artist and not a performer.
She said:
“I think a lot of times people don’t read. Now if you saw my post I put in quotes recording…I’m saying that I’m not going to actively record music.”
“When was the last time you saw Daddy Lumba and Amakye Dede, release new music but they’re still two of the highest-paid artistes,” she concluded.
