Ghanaian actress Nana Ama McBrown has revealed that she once ate her daughter’s faeces.
The film star was earlier lambasted on social media after a video of her licking her daughter’s hand, then the rest of her body, went viral.
Reacting to the viral video in an interview with Kwaku Manu, she said, ‘I have even eaten her faeces before”.
She recounted that it happened when she served herself food and whilst trying to eat at the same time changing her daughter’s diaper, she pooed and it splashed into her meal.
The actress said she ate the food due to a myth that if a woman’s daughter poos into her food and she doesn’t eat, the child would die.
“If your child passes stool in your food and you don’t eat as the mother, the child would die”, she recalled the myth.
Nana Ama McBrown said she quickly took her plate of food mixed with faeces and ate for her daughter to live.
