One of West Africa’s best artists, Mr Eazi is yet to buy a car of his own.
As surprising as this is, it is what it is. He says a lot of people do not even believe this when he tells them.
In a recent interview in Ghana, Mr Eazi once again reiterated this strange stance of his to not buy a car at this point in time.
Speaking in the interview he said;
‘No, I still don’t have a car. This is because all year round I’m not stationed at one place. Today, I’m in this country playing shows, tomorrow, I’m somewhere else. It doesn’t make any sense for me to buy a car and just pack it, and so no, I still don’t have a car.’
Mr Eazi went on to address the issue of how he feels people do not respect people in the art industry.
He was noted saying; ‘People don’t really respect the creative arts as an industry but I think with time the narrative is changing’.
