Ghanaian actor, Akwasi Boadi better known as Akrobeto has revealed that he was still bedwetting even as a teenager.
The actor said he only managed to stop the act after he turned 18 years.
Akrobeto made the revelation on the Real News programme on UTV, while commenting on the story of a father who brutalized his three-year-old son with a cane and wire because of bedwetting.
The child’s father is currently in the grips of the police in the Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi.
Akrobeto expressed disappointment in the boy’s father for assaulting his son over the involuntary act.
“A child who is only three-years, what sin at all has he committed? According to what people are saying, the child wets his bed. A three-year-old wets his bed and you beat him?
“You beat him such that if the video had gone viral people would have seen it.”, he said.
Akrobeto believes that the father of the child should have known better because he is educated.
“As I am sitting here right now, I was almost 18-years-old when I stopped bed wetting and so when a child who is three years wets his bed, is there an issue in this that you beat him like that. You are not even just a citizen but a National Service personnel so you’re well educated.”
The actor also revealed that one Apostle Sarfo once told him to go to bed without worrying about the issue.
Akrobeto said that he stopped bedwetting after the encounter with Apostle Sarfo though the pastor never prayed for him.
