Nana Aba Anamoah, an ace Ghanaian journalist, has revealed plans to go into the classroom to impact knowledge after she retires from the media.
Speaking on the KSM show, Nana Aba said she won’t always be in media because she believes she can impact more people in the classroom.
Nana Aba who has depicted she is a strong and fearless force to deal with in the media space is known to take on the hardest and most revered tasks.
She was recently in the news for her outburst on the failure of the ruling NPP government to live up to their promises. This she received a lot of backlash for but stood her grounds. The NPP later realized their unfounded anger and rendered an apology.
When asked the passion and reason behind her decision to teach, Nana said, “Sometimes you just get tired of doing the same thing over and over again. I am tired of living my life for people.”

“I want to finally live for myself and mentor young people away from the camera…that’s why I want to do my PHD so that I can go back to the classroom and share the knowledge I’ve gathered all these years with the young ones”, she concluded.
According to Nana Aba, “Ever since I joined the media, I have churned out a lot of talents. But I feel when I become a teacher, I will impact more young people and help them discover themselves and their potentials.”
She explained how she developed her love for media, saying her father was a newsreader and plainly forced all of them to watch the news in order to be abreast with current issues.
Narrating the experience, she said,” I would say I was born into the media. This is because my father was a newsreader and he forced all of us to watch the news on a daily basis. He also made sure I read a book each day to polish my English. So I would say watching my father read the news on a daily basis made me fall in love with the media.”
