Spokesperson for United Concerned Members of GHAMRO, Hagan Awuku, says was contracted to plant secret recorders in the office of Ghana Music Rights Organisation (GHAMRO).
He confessed the act on live radio on the ‘Best Entertainment Show’ hosted by Halifax Ansah-Addo on Okay FM.
According to him, he still has the recordings of all discussions that went on in that office whether private or official discussions.
Hagan Awuku, a partner of musician Akosua Adjepong in their anti-Rex Omar GHAMRO campaign, said it was a certain ‘Flash’ who contracted him to plant the secret recording devices in the office of GHAMRO.
“See, I want to tell you(Halifax) a secret, the National President of Spinners Association, his name is Flash, he gave me money to buy a recording device to plant in the GHAMRO office to enable us get all secret meetings they have”
“The over 17 meetings they had all, I have access to it. Listen to me well so I know what I am talking about. I know all the evil plans and all that”, he claimed.
Though the act may amount to invasion of privacy, Hagan Awuku stresses that he did the right thing.
