Ghanaian singer, Peter Fameye, simply known as Fameye, has explained why most of his songs speak about sorrows and struggles.
According to the artist, his mum and dad died when he was only a year old on this earth.
The ‘Nothing I Get’ hit maker added that he suffered maltreatment at the hands of some subsequent guardians.
Fameye stated that though he doesn’t like to speak of his past as he does in his songs, he is forced to because it is the reality.
“I am always talking about it but I don’t like it. The fact that I lost my parents at a very tender age. All the time I say it”, he said.
“I have been staying with a lot of people….friends and family members. Some did not (treat me well)”, he added.
Fameye after his breakthrough in music industry has released bangers including ‘Mati’, ‘Nothing I Get’, ‘Okomfour Kwaadee’, ‘Bisa’ among others.
In May 2020, he was adjudged the ‘Breakthrough Act of the Year’ at the 3 Music Awards.
