Ghanaian rapper Omar Sterling has revealed his great obsession with getting money when he was younger.

The artist said his obsession made him focus his life mainly on making cash and he also chose names related to money.

Omar Sterling of R2Bees revealed that the situation led him to name his group’s label as ‘Refuse 2 Be Broke’ and gave himself the name ‘Payday Da Pralem’.

After many years of making money, the rapper has concluded that money can buy comfort but can’t buy happiness.

He noted that his generation seemed comfortable due to money but asked if his generation is really happy?

“When I was young, I was so obsessed with money i named our company Refuse 2 Be Broke and me Payday da pralem. As i grew older it dawned on me that our generation can boast of being the most comfortable from past generations but can we say we are the happiest?”

“Money can buy comfort no doubt but happiness NO. Happiness is an inside job. Look within it’s free and accessible to all. I love you”, he tweeted.
