Sarkodie has for a while now kept his fans in suspense and great anticipation for his much talked about ‘Black Love’ album. The artist has over the last weeks dropped a few tracks from the album and these have been thoroughly enjoyed by fans.
The multiple award-winning artist said in a recent interview that, he is only trying to act smartly within the confines of business. He said this is the main reason he has not set a specific timeframe for the release of the album.
Sarkodie went on to disclose that, releasing a full album in the contemporary music industry is counterproductive hence, for now, he will continue releasing singles from the Black Love album.
Sarkodie in the interview said;
“The only thing I’m doing is that I haven’t dropped a date yet or the tracklist, but it’s going to be any moment from now.
It’s going to drop as a surprise. I don’t have any fixed release date for the album”.
That’s what I have for the fans. I really wanted them to focus on the singles and pushing more because what I realized was if you put out a whole project, sometimes they miss the records if it’s too much.
I wanted them to have time to enjoy at least four or five songs and then everything drops”
