Eugene Kwame Marfo popularly known as Kuami Eugene says if DopeNation have taken his recent comments about their departure from Lynx serious, then it is their problem.
DopeNation felt disappointed in Kuami Eugene for saying he is excited that the duo left Lynx Entertainmet.
The group consisting of twin brothers Micheal Boafo (B2) and Tony Boafo (Twist) joined Lnyx Entertainment in 2019 and exited in June 2020.
CEO of Lynx Entertainment, Richie Mensah disclosed that the group had signed a short term contract with his record label and the contract had expired.
Reacting to the development in an interview with Joy News, Kuami Eugene first denied reports that he had also left the record label.
He also added that he feels good that ‘Zanku’ hitmakers DopeNation left Lynx Entertainment.
Reacting to Kuami Eugene’s comments, the duo said they are disappointed and they don’t expect the ‘Angela’ hit maker to speak like that.
In a recent development, Kuami Eugene indicated that he is not bothered if the duo have taken his joke serious.
“Today you are at YFM, your colleagues in the studio are your friends, so you joke with them. If they leave YFM, they are still your friends and joke with them and they take offence, it’s their problem. If a comedian makes a joke and you don’t laugh it’s your problem”, the ‘Angela’ hit maker said on YFM Takoradi.
He also feels DopeNation probably need to feed on his joke to trend.
“We used to joke when we were at Lynx, maybe they want hype that is why they are extending this issue. But for me they are still my brothers,” he stated.
DopeNation are yet to respond to the latest comments by their former label mate Kuami Eugene.
