Actress Beverly Afaglo took to social media a few days ago to accuse Golden Tulip hotel of extorting monies from customers under the guise of ‘Year of Return’.
According to Beverly, Golden Tulip has increased prices for its buffet by over 100 per cent, which she found very outrageous.
The very angry actress, took to Instagram to register her displeasure. She explained that the price per head for a buffet at the hotel which stood at GH₵130 is now GH₵290.
Fans on social media are busily jabbing Beverly and calling her broke for complaining about what she thinks is unfair on the part of Golden Tulip.
Her fans believe, for a person of her calibre, GH₵ 290 was really no big deal. Beverly has however made it clear that she is a parent and hence does not throw money about anyhow.
Now, more importantly, is the fact that her previous rant was not about the price of the meal, but the hike in the price of the meal, which is what is unfair.
Beverly said, “I run my own businesses. I may not be rich, but I am not poor. When something is wrong, let’s just call it as it is.”
