Ghanaian politician and Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Chairman Wontumi, has dared Shatta Wale to a lyrical battle on Ghana’s Independence Day.
Bernard Antwi-Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi expressed his love for the artiste but stated that he was ready to take him on.
Peacefmonline has reported that the politician said that he will defeat Shatta Wale in the battle on March 6, 2020.
“Shatta Wale is a top artist and I like his music alot but I want to battle at this year’s Independence Day celebration. When it comes to lyrics, I will murder Shatta because I have all the punchlines”, he said.
Ghana’s 63rd Independence Day parade will be held in Kumasi, the Ashanti regional capital on March 6, 2020.
Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Keith Rowley will be a special guest at Ghana’s 63rd Independence Day parade.
Chairman Wontumi is calling for this battle as one of the activities to light up the event.
This call for a battle comes shortly after Shatta Wale released a song he composed together with Chairman Wontumi.
The song which is co-written by Chairman Wontumi is titled ‘Zion’.
